We visited the cafe\' at least 10 times during our visits to Malta. Have recomended the cafe\' to friends and family and will not hesitate to recomend it again and again. The deserts are fresh and the best and so is the staff and atmospher. Looking forward for our next visit in July \'09. Special hello to Linette & Alan.

we really enjoyed saturday evening relaxing on the sofas surrounded with palm trees ,,,its like bahamas ... wow and the platters are wonderfull.we really enjoyed thx...

What a superb and very popular Cafe this is, the staff remember you and are very pleasant and friendly.

The fact that you also get lovely freshly prepared food is a bonus

Well done for the newest part of the cafe. Decor is lovely, staff r smart, friendly & helpful. Food is simply to die for & its good value for money. Hope standards remain same..keep it up! Definitely recommendable

Great place to eat, drink and relax!
Very consistent in the quality of food (something rare in Malta) and the service is excellent, always with a smile. Prices quite fair. I've been there 2 times, my wife 3 times and we will surely return! Keep up the good work

This place is great. We arrived very hot and tired and stepped into a wonderfully cool refreshing space. My son loved the iPad menu and the free Internet. The food is very good indeed; we especially recommend the seafood and fish.

In my opinion..this cafe is perfect,with modern designs,energetic staff,and reasonable prices..... Not to forget !The Menu's are presented and explained on apple ipad units...its fantastic..one can also browse the internet on these ipad's until quality food is served...I love southeast...

Our experience was a very bad one! Bad food and bad service!!! I think it's a cafe, you should keep a menu as of a cafe not of a restaurant with beef fillets, veal and all! When having those items on your menu, you should be up to it and have the right people who are capable of preparing those dishes for the clients! If we asked for a welldone fillet and were told that welldone fillets are not served I would presume a medium to well fillet is served not a RARE fillet which is literally black on the outside and RARE on the inside. Mushroom sauce was served at room temperature...plates were full of oily fingerprints around the rim...fries were wedges and as brown as chocolate, only God knows when those wedges were cooked! If a 4-year old boy was told to put some lettuce and tomatoes on the side of a plate he would have done it better than just a piece of lettuce and half a tomato on it placed upside down!!!!

I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants to dine and not just eat!!!

We were a group of 10 and visited the Southwest restaurant last Saturday- overall we enjoyed ourselves, the atmosphere was good, the waiters were attentive and we also enjoyed playing with the iPads, BUT the waiting time for dinner was not acceptable. It is true that the restaurant was packed but to get our main course at 11pm, when we arrived at 9pm was very dissapointing. It seems that you have the right number of waiters but not enough cooks. Having said this, we will give the restaurant another chance but it won't be our first choice unfortunately.

Anybody visiting Malta should put this restaurant on his list of places to visit. The tables on one side have their own television screen and, though the volume is kept very low, it's good enough for anyone following a serial not to miss an episode! A Remote Control is provided for you to choose your favourite channel.

It has seating indoor and outdoors and there is a view of fishing "luzzus" - the traditional Maltese fishing boats. There is a button on the table for calling the waiter and you can have either a printed menu or a tablet from where you can make your order. As to the food, it's first-class. Cooked to perfection and amazingly tasty. Do not expect fast service because everything is cooked fresh!

Hi southeast, me and my boyfriend went there for the first time and we really liked the food and enjoyed ourselves, Very very excellent food and staff.The service was very good too, we will come over again and we want to eat great food we will go to SOUTHEAST RESTOURANT again and again . If there someone who's looking for a place to eat good. excellent food do not go anywhere else but Southeast.
